Ultima Spiaggia is my idyllic vision of summer—a paradisiacal image that holds true only when you don’t look too closely. 

This series was developed alongside Working on My Tan: The Ultimate Tanning Guide, a satirical exploration of the rituals behind achieving the perfect tan, approached with a close-up, ironic perspective. 

In contrast, Ultima Spiaggia reflects a more detached perspective, embodying my personal idealization of the beach. It’s my escape from the discomfort of salt-irritated skin, sweat, and endless noise. It embodies the silence that transforms reality into a dreamlike state that I can hold in my mind for the rest of the year.
